Tulane University EV Charging Station New Orleans
The Louisiana Electric Vehicle charging network continues to grow with universities stepping in to provide power access points. Recently, Solar Alternatives completed a level 2 electrical vehicle charging station in the Tulane University parking garage for use by the uptown New Orleans campus community.
The level 2 EVSE provided by this unit supports faster charging at higher voltages and currents than is available from a typical 120V outlet. The ChargePoint charging unit is also netw0rk-enabled, which provides access control, data tracking, and future revenue potential for the facility. Congratulations to Tulane University for embracing clean transportation technologies.
This installation is featured in the PlugShare network, a site used to locate places where you can charge your electric vehicle. Solar Alternatives supports electric vehicle infrastructure as a path toward options for clean energy such as solar power, which in turn help consumer savings, air quality, and even enhance our national security.
